Funding for operation of the Armstrong Air & Space Museum is provided by user revenue, the Ohio History Connection, and generous contributions from businesses and individuals like you!
Over the past decade, as state funding decreased for site operation, the Ohio History Connection developed new, more cost-effective approaches to site management. OHC entered into partnerships with local organizations to manage the day-to-day operations of the satet's historic sites and museums.
The Armstrong Air and Space Museum Association is one of those exciting new partnerships. The association, a not-for-profit organization, has been created to manage the operations at the museum. The Association operates the museum with both full-time and part-time staff and volunteer docents. It is also responsible for education, general maintenance, special events, programming, and marketing campaigns.
This is an exciting new opportunity for the museum and those of us who value its importance to Ohio and the nation. As private citizens we can invest our time and money in this important work to preserve the legacy of American aerospace.
There are a wide variety of opportunities for your involvement — from financial contributor to volunteer docent. Your participation will help us preserve the museum and share its story with future generations.
