Starting Labor Day and running through the end of March, the museum will be open Tuesday through Sunday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, and closed on Mondays.


OPEN:  New Years Eve, New Years Day, MLK Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Black Friday, and Christmas Eve.


CLOSED:  Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and Easter Sunday. All other holidays are subject to normal business hours.

TIPS FOR VISITING

  • Parking

    The museum has free parking on-site for guests visiting the museum. Spaces are also available for RV and large trucks as well. Please note that the parking lot is several hundred feet away from the front entrance of the museum.

  • Time

    The museum suggests that you plan for your experience to last 1 – 2 hours, with some guests taking longer. The overall experience includes a 30-minute documentary played in our dome room every top and bottom of the hour.

  • Assessibility

    The museum is wheelchair accessible and offers handicap parking, ramps throughout all of the galleries, and ample seating for guests to sit down. The museum offers one wheelchair for free public use on a first-come, first-served basis. 

  • Food & Drink

    There is no food or beverages, including water, allowed in the museum. There are no cafes or eating establishments inside the museum. However, the museum is conveniently located next to a number of fine restaurants.

  • Photography, Filming & Drones

    Photography and personal filming is allowed within the museum galleries. No flash photography or external lighting is permitted. Drones are not permitted on the property without prior consent of the Armstrong Air & Space Museum Association and the Ohio History Connection. If you are interested in filming or using drones for professional purposes, please contact exhibits@armstrongmuseum.org.

  • Pets & Animals

    Pets are not allowed in the museum. However, in compliance with the ADA, trained and licensed service animals required to perform tasks or for a person with a disability are permitted in the Armstrong Air & Space Museum. Service animals should remain on a leash or in a harness and under the control of the owner at all times. 


    Pets should not be left unattended outside and must be on a leash at all times. We also kindly ask that pet owners clean up after their pet as well.
