The Armstrong Air & Space Museum is a premier destination for groups across the region and world! Our museum can accommodate groups ranging from
15 to 100 people, with your experience being strategically coordinated by one of our staff members. Museum guided tours are fun, engaging, and are geared for people of all ages. Information about

GUIDELINES
Group size: the museum requires a group size of at least 15 paying guests or more to be considered for a guided tour and group rate. Groups can be no larger than 100 persons.
Scheduling: reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance before the intended arrival date.
Arrival: all groups are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled time. If groups are more than an hour late, the museum reserves the right to cancel the scheduled guided tour.
Payments: group payments can be made on the day of arrival.
Food & Drink: there is no food or drinks allowed in the museum, including water. If your group has packed lunches, the outdoor pavilion is available for eating, regardless of weather.
Hours of Operation:
any group wanting to have a guided tour outside of our normal hours of operation will need approval by the tour coordinator.
STANDARD GROUP EXPERIENCE
The standard group experience includes a guided tour of the museum, a short 30-minute documentary in our Astro-Theater, and “Discovery time” in our Modern Space Gallery. Groups have the option to visit the museum store at that time as well.

NEW AMERICA 250 GUIDED TOURS

DESCRIPTION:
The Armstrong Air & Space Museum is excited to announce two new adult tours launching as part of the America 250 celebrations in 2026. These experiences spotlight Neil Armstrong’s pioneering contributions to America’s aerospace achievements, as well as Ohio’s remarkable legacy through its astronauts and aerospace manufacturing. Designed with senior groups, bus tour operators, and special-interest groups in mind, these tours offer an engaging and enriching look at the state’s impact on aviation and space exploration. Groups are encouraged to book at least two weeks in advance, as reservations are limited. Minimum 15 paying participants to book.
Jets, Journeys, & Giant Leaps Tour
Tour Time: 90 minutes
Tour Description: The Jets, Journeys, and Giant Leaps tour is an engaging guided experience that explores the extraordinary piloting career of Neil Armstrong through the lens of the iconic craft on display. From the humble beginnings of his aviation journey with the Aeronca Champion, to his groundbreaking test flights aboard the F5D Skylancer, and the pivotal moment of commanding the Gemini VIII spacecraft, this tour highlights Armstrong’s evolution from a skilled pilot to a space pioneer. The tour includes the historic and record-setting Learjet 28 Longhorn, showcasing Armstrong’s continued passion for flight even after his historic moon landing. Join us for an unforgettable dive into the craft that shaped a legend.
Cradle of Astronauts Tour
Tour Time: 90 minutes
Tour Description: The Cradle of Astronauts guided tour celebrates Ohio’s remarkable legacy as the birthplace of some of our nation's most iconic space explorers. From Neil Armstrong’s historic first steps on the Moon to John Glenn’s groundbreaking orbit of Earth, Jim Lovell’s heroic leadership during Apollo 13, and Tom Hendricks’ contributions to space shuttle missions, this tour highlights the achievements and enduring impact of these Ohio-born pioneers. Through fascinating stories and exhibits, visitors will discover how the Buckeye State has shaped the trajectory of human space exploration.
