A NIGHT WITH ASTRONAUT CARL WALZ

Spend the 55th anniversary of Apollo 11 with an actual Ohio astronaut!  Attendees will have the opportunity to take a deep dive into space exploration history, with the night's special guest, former NASA astronaut Carl Walz. The event will feature light food, beverages, and captivating stories from Walz's exciting career during his presentation.


Walz was selected in January 1990 as part of NASA’s 13th astronaut group. He has flown four space flights and has logged a total of over 230 days in space, totaling 3,620 orbits and traveling over 94,684,411 miles! Walz also served as the Director for the Advanced Capabilities Division in the Exploration Systems Mission Directorate at NASA Headquarters in Washington D.C. He retired from NASA in 2008.
